NWR: Drum roll please....
Got my contacts today! I did it! Took some time to put them on and take them off but I'm sure with time it will be a piece of cake. Now I will be able to see my FH, family and friends on my wedding day!!!!!! Yayyyyy!

Yayy. It takes some adjusting but you'll get use to it in no time.

Truthfully I feel so naked on my face without my glasses :( My glasses were like my shield and now I feel so exposed. Weird I guess.

Was having a little difficulty taking them out. Not going to lie I panicked. But I know with practice it will be like second nature. Keeping fingers crossed for tomorrow :)

It will be like second nature after you just keep practicing. I don't know if you remember but a few months back I posted how this was my BIGGEST fear but I refused to wear glasses for the wedding do I did it. Mind you the day of I cried before I even went into the office and then sat there for 3 hours to try to put them in and take them out, now I'm almost like a pro : ) great job Kim and just keep practicing

Nicole!!! I remember!!! I was going to send you a FM. I was going to pass on them this morning and start the weekend but I remained strong and put them on. I kept watching videos last night on how to put them on and take them off. I know with practice I will be a pro like you but these first couple of days are going to be a little rough. I have such a problem taking them out. Ugggghhhhhh! But I keep saying to myself, this is for my wedding and I want to see everyone there =)

Just remember its for the wedding. And two of my most favorite parts about wearing them is when it rains, I don't have to worry about my glasses getting all spotty and foggy and if I have to put a sweatshirt on or change my shirt there's no need to take them off!!! Little things and still 6 months later everytime I put them in and take them out I say to myself that o can't believe I'm doing this...

Well I am very proud of you because you faced one of your biggest fears. I just did not realize how much my upper eyelids had a mind of their own. Hahahaha! I know it will get easier with time. I am just glad that I put them on today because I wasn't going to. But I kept saying to myself, Wedding! Wedding! Wedding!' Big hug! SSqqquuueeeezzzeeeeeee
