NWR: Employment for anyone bi-lingual

Administrative Assistant

EAC’s Child Advocacy Center, located in Central Islip, Suffolk Country is looking for a full time
Administrative Assistant (non-exempt). The position is available immediately from 9am – 5pm,
Monday through Friday, with flexibility to include some evening and weekend hours as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree preferred; formal education requirements may be met by commensurate work experience.
• Minimum of two years relevant experience and knowledge of administrative procedures required.
• Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) required.
• Must be proficient in computer programs necessary to perform job responsibilities.
• Must have access to automobile and possess valid NY State driver’s license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in coordinating clerical and other services for crime victims and their families.
• Act as a liaison between victims and Multi- Disciplinary team including police, District Attorney, and social services agencies.
• Maintaining case records.
• Providing backup to CAC Center Regional Director and CAC staff.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
