NWR: Espresso Machines....

I need one.

I didn't get the one on my registery. DH thought it would be smart to register for an $800 one and see if anyone actually buys it. So, needless to say, we didn't get it.

Anyone have any recommendations on a really good espresso machine please?? TIA

I have the Delonghi Magnifica - it is amazing but insanely expensive!

I heard krups has some good ones.

We got the DeLonghi cappuccino/espresso and coffee maker. It works really nicely and everything tastes great! Then we have the traditional espresso pot too. We also have the Bialetti cappuccino pot, but we haven't had a chance to try that one yet. That one you put everything in and it supposedly makes the foam too.

I really like the Breville die cast espresso maker. I demo it at work and it works really really well. Most of the pieces are stainless too so it's very durable. It's $399 at BBB and Williams-Sonoma. Anyone I've ever sold it to has really enjoyed it and I haven't had any complaints. Good luck!

We got a low end DeLonghi from Macy's - it was between $150 and $200 and it is AWESOME for amateur espresso makers like us!

I use my K-cup..we got an attachment for it and it works great.

However, I also use my regular Bialetti Espresso pot, old school style on the stove. my dad & Fh say it's best like that

Ohh we got the Nespresso & it is GREAT. not too big, makes great expresso (though you have to use the nepresso cups). Not expensive either $229. Got it at William Sonoma
