I'm going to get my tattoo with my mom today!!! We're going at 6:00. I'm excited to be doing it with my mom but I'm a little nervous about the pain Hopefully it's not too bad! I'll post a picture of it when we get home

I'm going to be honest with you. It is going to hurt. There are varying degrees of how much it will hurt depending on where you are getting it. I have several and my most painful was my lower back and upper thigh. My inner wrist and the back of my neck were not to bad, with the pain being minimal (very minimal, but still there). The best way I can describe the pain is as like a burning sensation.
I understand your nerves, but think of it this way, if the pain was unbearable, nobody would get inked. Where are you planning on getting yours?

I got my first one with my mom and brother. As soon as I got home, I called them up and made an appointment to get another one two days later. LOL

What are you getting? I heard that it hurts but I guess not terribly because people get more than one lol I don't have any but I went with my friend to get her first and after it was over she said she thought it was going to hurt so much more lol

I have four.. both ankles and my lower back across my spine.. None of mine hurt, I love getting them! I can't wait to get another one It really all depends on your pain tolerance.. Im sure you will be fine! To me its more of an annoying feeling than painful.. have fun! can't wait to see pics!!!

tattoos are sooo addictive! what are you getting a tattoo of? it all depends on what your tolerance of pain is. everyone feels pain a different way, so what might be painful to some is a breeze for soemone else. have fun and don't think about it! and no smoking or alcohol today!!!!

I have 2 and hope to get atleast 2 more before the wedding. I wont lie....it does hurt a bit but its momentary. Once the tatoo is over the pain is gone. It also depends where you get it. I have 1 on my back that hurt a little because there was alot of filling in. I also have a band going around my arm and the only spot that hurt was the very underneath of my arm.

It's actually my second tattoo. My first is a butterfly on my hip...this one is two hearts on my ankle. I got the first one 6 years ago and I remember it being really annoying but there's more fat near my hip then on my ankle which is why I'm nervous lol.
