NWR: Excited for my interviews this week

I was so bummed about being laid off but I have 3 interviews this week, I have two tomorrow and I am going to a healthcare job fair and I have on on Friday at school my friend works at. Additionally, I was put on the DOE's list to be a Related Service Provider. I am glad things are looking up. Tomorrow night I am going to an orientation for Related Service providers at an agency called RCM. I am really happy to start getting interviews. Hopefully I will find something I love that I can stay with for a while. I am excited about the school on Friday because they have onsite childcare and although we don't have kids yet. I think it's good to be in place that does offer that incentive.

Thanks. I am a Speech Language Pathologist and certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicap. Primarily I have worked in preschools and early intervention. I worked at NYC DOE before I became a licensed SLP. Do you know of someplace that needs an SLP?

my cousin is a speech therapist. I can ask her. She's going to Africa for 2 weeks so I may have to wait until she's home.

I know she worked at the Rebecca school but left there.

But in the meantime, good luck. You should be able to find a job since it's a specialized field and they can't just fill it with someone not qualified.

Btw did you got o Queens college for that?
