NWR- extending a lease

hello! hope everyone had a great weekend with all the beautiful weather we had!

Has anyone ever had to extend their car lease? My car lease is up May 10th. FH and i are hoping to move in together May 1st, and then we will have 1 car, which we bought already and he is driving it around. (we have a long distance relationship)
So for a last resort, i may have to extend my lease if we dont find an apartment in time.

does anyone know if this can be done? and what the terms are? and how it works with the mileage?
and any other info woudl be great

I think it depens on the lease company.

My FH has an Audi that he to extend the lease on for 4 months while waiting for the new car to come in.

He worked it out that he got X miles a month (based on his 3 year lease) and paid the same amount er month for 4months. But they will only do it for so long.

Best thing is to call the dealership and ask them what they terms are.
