So I usually just pluck but my eyebrows seem a little unruly so I was considering getting them threaded...my only concern is that i dont want them to be super thin just very neat and well shaped...do any of you get your eyebrows threaded? If so how is it-does it hurt, how much is it, how often do you go, and are your eyebrows really thin

i swear by threading.... its so much more accurate than waxing you get a great shape that they threader can control more than a waxer, i dont think its hurts and its less messy

Re: NWR: Eyebrow threading
I asked this question yesterday on the BHB board..... Through BHB recommendation, I went to Thread on East 33rd and Lexington Ave (by my job) and they did an amazing job ($8). I will never go back to plucking again and waxing is a no no b/c it makes me break out. threading doesn't hurt as much as everyone says it does. I grew out my brows before I got it done so that they wouldn't be too thin.. They look great..
Joanna, do you get your brows threaded in Brooklyn? if so where (dyker or bay ridge perhaps?).. thanksss!!!

I've been getting my threaded for about 4 years now, I go to Pooja salon in Levittown, they do an awesome job
When i first started going it did hurt, after about 2 months, it stopped hurting. Now it doesn't even bother me when i go. I used to go every 2 weeks, no i go 1 a month

i swear by threading....so much better for you...I used to react to wax sooo badly plus there have been studies that show the ripping of the wax ruins the collogen in your skin and over the years stretches it making your eyes more droopy! I go to a place my me in middle village and occasionally a place by nyu off broadway

threading is awesome! I was weary about it but then I did it and was amazed, the only place I have gone to was in Selden on Middle Country road.

Re: NWR: Eyebrow threading
I love eyebrow threading...soo much better than waxing.
It does hurt but not too bad and its a much cleaner look than waxing or plucking. I also find that the ladies who thread will leave them thicker than the ladies who wax...just my opinion.
I go to a great place in Hicksville. FM me if you want the information.

lol..that's because Hicksville has a very high Indian population and those are the ladies that do the threading. It's part of their culture (I think).
I will never go back to waxing.

I completely agree! After I got my eyebrows threaded, I loved it and i'm never going back to waxing again. They are shaped so much better and a lot more full then they used to be (which is a good thing in my case). I go to a place in Northport Village
