I get them threaded at a place in Hicksville. For me it's better than waxing bc I can go 3 weeks instead of 2.

Re: NWR - Eyebrows
I get them waxed because I think threading hurts wayyyy too much for me. They usually last me a good month, but my hair is light so I can go longer then some ladies.

Re: NWR - Eyebrows
I wax but very rarely because I'm trying to grow them in. I tweezed only until about 2 years ago. I actually think I'm going to stop waxing altogether, because I feel like they just take off a little too much every time. Any advice on that, guys?

I'm also a threading advocate. I used to wax but I never quite got the look I wanted. I feel like threading is a lot more precise and clean. And it lasts longer than waxing.

Re: NWR - Eyebrows
I used to wax, and tweeze to maintain...now my eyebrows dont grow back in spots..so I have just been tweezing.
My coworker had her eyebrows threaded and they came out amazing..so I made an appt...I went yesterday...and I love them!!
IMO...threading was so much less painful, and I agree it seems more acurate.

Re: NWR - Eyebrows
Not only is threading more accurate but i have herd waxing pulls your skin and may cause wrinkles latter on.
I thread every 2 weeks. I used to go somewhere in Hicks ville bc a lot of Indian women do it, but one of them messed my eyebrows up so i will never go to that one again. If any one goes to T r e nd z stay away from the younger girls let the older ladies to it they do a much better job.

Re: NWR - Eyebrows
I tweeze at home - i was bless with really good eyebrows and all I have to do is pick some stray every now and then. Thank god because if I had to go and get something done every 2 weeks I wouldn't and them I'd end up looking like an ewok!

Re: NWR - Eyebrows
Waxing grosses me out .... everyone should have a separate pot for just brows...yes they use a diff stick but its being dipped into the same pot of wax that they used on the next chick...
