I am in the process of looking for a house and just wondering if anyone lives in Farmingdale. We have broadened that to be part of our search since the houses in Massapequa are going like hot cakes.
What are the best elementary schools in this district? I have looked at the best schools website but sometimes you can get more of a feel actually living there. It seems like Woodward is the nicest from greatschools.com but I'm just curious.
Thanks for any help!!!

NWR: Farmingdale / Farmingdale schools
Loumela is correct. North Massapequa kids in the Farmingdale school district go to Albany Avenue for elementary school.
the North amityville kids that are in the farmingdale school district mostly go to Saltzman east memorial and some to Woodward Parkway.
Northside elementary school gets the village of farmingdale children. These are mostly people that live around the main street area and the condos/co-ops by the train station.
All children in the Farmingdale district go to Howitt Middle School and Farmingdale High School.

Well I don't want houses in Amityville schools. I was just specifically asking about Farmingdale district.
And I do know that it's about what is at home, but teachers do play a role - I'm one myself so I know.

I hope I helped answer some of your questions. if you have any more you can send me FM. I went to farmingdale schools from 1st through 12th grade, my sister went from K-12 and my mom works in the schools. I'd be happy to help.
