NWR: Favorite thing to do in Vegas?

We are leaving for Vegas next Wednesday and even though we've been there like 7 times, I always hear about things that people do there that Ive never heard of.

Do you have a favorite bar? restaurant? buffet? thing to see? etc etc in Vegas?

We are trying to do this as cheaply as possible.

Always hit Planet Hollywood in Ceasars. We get a coupon in one of the visitor books for a free entree and the service is always good.

Also, check out the new Wynn Hotel, i heard it it awesome

There is a restaurant called Samba in the Mirage Hotel that we love. It is a Brazilian Churrascaria and it's fabulous! The only thing is, if you're a vegetarian, I would steer clear of it. They serve LOTS of meat!

I also like going to Sam's Town. It's another resort/casino which is a little outside the downtown Las Vegas area. If you have a car and the time I'd venture there. They have a great Mexican restaurant called Willy & Jose's.

Any of the Cirque du Soleil shows are great.

You must got to Tao at the Venetian. Fabulous club that has humans as decorations. Very swank!!!!!

Pure at Ceasars is phenomenal!!!!

Also, a good dinner is Bertolini's in the Forum mall in caesars.

Looking for a little fine dining...Le Cirque and Prime Steakhouse, both in Bellagio...yummy and gorgeous!!!

I LOVE Samba and yes you have to be a bit of a carnivore to really enjoy it.

The buffet at the Paris is amazing..tremendous and delicious.

Beachers Rockhouse was awesome when we went back in August. Its a bar right off the sidewalk infront of Imperial Palace. The play a mix of 80's and hip-hop! The best dancing music ever! Its like coyote ugly but the bartenders/dancers are go-go chicks! I went in jeans and flip-flops and was so comfortable! Have fun and win lots of money!

I love going to Ghost Bar in the Palms, it is very cool and you can see celebrities there.

Rain in the Palms is cool to if you are looking for a clubby place. They have a really cool fire show too.

ETA: If you go to Ghost Bar, be sure to go out side and look through the glass floor, it's pretty cool.

I've only been there once, but here's a few things we did ...

Breakfast buffets - the Bellagio and the Golden Nugget. The Golden Nugget was SO good! It's old school Vegas, and they had biscuits and gravy. The Bellagio was close to $20 pp, but the Golden Nugget was $6!!!

Dinner - we ate at the Italian restaurant in the Bellagio - I can't remember the name, but it was very good! Even better was the dinner buffet at the Aladdin. We ate so much we were almost ill, but it was so good and they give you a huge selection of foods to choose from - Mexican, Italian, Chinese, barbecue ... what more can anyone ask for?

Nightclubs - FH and I rarely go to clubs, but we figured it's Vegas, let's go for it. He ordered party passes off of Ebay, so for $25 we got 2 passes to Ghost Bar, Light and Rain for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively - so we saved about $100 in admission costs - DEFINITELY check this out if you plan on clubbing. Ghost Bar was very chill, although it was a Wednesday. We lucked out because there was a lightning storm over the dessert that night so we spent the entire time on the deck part. Light was a good time - a lot of dancing, and Rain wasn't really for us. We spent most of the night at the Bikini Lounge which is really just the hotel pool.

Most of the days we walked around Vegas and looked at the different hotels. We'd gamble a little in the afternoon and unfortunately on the way home from the clubs. Definitely check out Old Vegas if you haven't already - it's fun. For drinking, we got a bottle of vodka for the room and made a few drinks before we went out. Then we'd always stop at the Barnaby Coast for $1 Michelobes. By the time we got to the clubs 2 rounds of drink was enough! The best way to save money is pre-game!

For next time - try to Priceline your hotel. We got the Venetian for like $100/night over a weekend.

Aladdin had a great buffet (we stayed there)

I loved the wax museum,we had a lot of fun in there!

Love the rollercoasted in NY, NY

Loved cirque de soile (HOWEVER you spell that)

ummmm what else did I like....we did so much I can't remember!!!
