bought this cutie yesterday!! but we walked away :( spending almost two thousand on a puppy isn't the best idea while were saving for a house and a wedding :(, plus our one puppy is a handful already!! so saddd!!

aww he is so cute. I almost bought a puppy a few weeks ago ( Before we confirmed that my dog was preggers) it cost 2150. They wanted me to finance it, but I remember reading a post from somewhere that said most puppies from pet stores are from puppy mills. So I walked away. He was a definite cutie though.
yea, all pups from shops are puppy mills.. so you should really only purchase dogs from actual breeders.
totally agreed.
I happen to know of a frenchie breeder in bklyn btw.
but bear in mind, they're really predispositioned for mega health issues. :( I loove them though.

on a side note - I hate puppies! lol. I love other people's puppies but wow..housebreaking and training...no.

I don't know how you were able to play with that puppy and not buy him! HE is SO ADORABLE!
THe last time we went somewhere and played with a puppy we walked out with him... 1000 dollars later! Whoops!

we have three dogs.. We got my last one as an engagement present to ourselves. We did not need to spend so much on this but we fell in love. There is a pet store called Puppy Depot. I'm not a fan of pet shops but we fell in love with our first dog so every once and a awhile we go in there to look at the dogs. We went in there on a wim when we first moved into our second apartment and were looking at the puppies. We saw a Peagle which is a pekingnese/beagle mix more like oops a mistake but it was a girl and i really wanted a boy. They said hold on a min we have one in the back someone had a deposit on him and never came back or called. So they left him behind. They brought him out and i started crying hes the one.. He looked like a teddy bear! So needless to say that was my first love - who is buddy now 2. Then my mother wanted to get another dog so we went to a yorkie breeder and she wanted my opinion. The breeder wound up giving both of us one to hold and that was it for me - they gave me a little girl and she was soo cute always wanted my own yorkshire terrier- her name is roxy and shes is 1. My last dog is a peagle also and she is a girl got her when we were suppose to be pumpkin picking but decided to stop in there instead. My FH says look at this one sooo cute and im like nooo my mom is gonna kill us... So needless to say we got her and her name is Bella. I love them all soo much they all have such great personalities... I'm like that looney tunes cartoon with the girl that wants to hug and squeeze the animals.. i love them!!!

we went to the shelter in nov...just to look and we came home with a german shephard collie....miss M.I.A(it wont let me put her name in without the ***)
