NWR: FH & Christmas

This will be the 4th Christmas for FH and I, however he has spent 5/6 days surrouding christmas in texas at his brothers every year so we have always had to have our own little christmas before... which stinks

next year he can't leave me, this i told him to just go and see his niece and nephew since its the last time he really can, atleast for a while. I tried to not make him think it bothered me, but it is killing me that we are never able to spend any part of christmas together... he left the week after we moved into the house last year. it is my fav holiday and my family does a huge xmas eve thing, and i just want to be together.

his bro is now moving and they don't know if they are all going.... i don't want to get my hopes up, but i have been secretly hoping for this all along... am i horrible?

Why can't you alternate years? Both of you go to his family one year and both go to your family the other? Seems much more fair.

there was barely room for him and his other bro and his parents in the house they were in and they are moving to another smaller house before xmas this year. not only would it cost us a fortune we don' t have to fly there, but now we would have to stay at a hotel. on top of that, his bro is not his fav person so he never wants to really go, just feel obligated to.
