I BOUGHT MY FH A TAG HAUER WATCH FOR CHRISTMAS. HE LOVES IT.

My FH will turn 30 this coming August and I will be surprising him with going skydiving with his best friend (b/c im chickensh!t) and/or getting him flight lessons!!!

A trip is a good idea.

I don't know what it is with all your FHs and watches...my FH wears a crappy plastic digital watch but most of the time he uses his cell phone for the time. I'd love to be able to get him a nice watch but he would never use it.

For a friends' 30th, his wife rented a HUGE Hummer limo and took 6 of his friends and their spouses/girlfriends to some bars in NYC and dinner. It was really a fun idea. I don't have any other really good ideas

Here's the thing...I'm throwing him a party for about 50 friends at a bar & grill, so I'm already spending a good amount of money! BUT the party is 3 days after his birthday, so I still would like to get something for his actual birthday....something kinda moderate in price, but meaning ful?!?!? No more than $300

I know everyone's been saying watches and I will agree - my FH loves watches and there are lots of nice ones for under $300. Does he have any hobbies - I can ALWAYS think of things to get my FH. He's like a kid always wanting different toys and never forgets to remind me of things he wants. Makes my life easy - sometimes the hard part is choosing what I think would be best to get him and what he 'needs'.

I had a boyfriend that loved loved U2 so I went on ebay and bought him an original U2 concert t from the Joshua Tree tour. He was very touched by my effort and thought. What abou something like that?
