My fiance turns 40 this weekend.
Any suggestions of a restaurant we can go for dinner with his friends? A fun place, with drinks and good food. Not too fancy but still classy enough. Any suggestions are most welcome!!
I also have literally no idea what to get him, any ideas? I was thinking of one of those video game things people play with the bowling and tennis etc but have no idea of price etc. Do you know if they have a golf one??

another place you should check out is AGAVE
its Mexican and i heard its VERY good and totally not expensive

IF YOU want to stay with the asian fusion theme, there is also ninja and you would get your own private room...well everybody has a private room. its VERY different than most dining experiences. They take you through a bridge, they have ninja magicians do cool things with the food and other surprises

yeah it definitely can be pricey. If you dont order drinks it wont be that bad i guess but of course we did order drinks...the portions were a bit small

I don't know anything really. He wants Rosa Mexicano but I just don't think it's that great so maybe something along those lines. I also thought of Tao but the reservations are booked out.
i agree, rosa mex is overrated. I have yet to find an amazing mexican restaurant in nyc.
5 burros hahaha. I do like it alot though
5 burros is delish too bad it's always packed and so tiny. fh loves the stupid little plastic toys they give you with drinks
i meant manhattan really - every place i try i'm disappointed in.

yeah manhattan is not good for mexican.

my co-workers are taking me to pamplona for my birthday... i've never been but they say it's really good tapas; not much atmosphere though. I think it's new.
