NWR; Foot pain

I have been having pain under my foot (heal) for the past 2 weeks, I couldn't take it anymore so I made a podiatrist appt this afternoon......He said I have heel spur! He gave me a cortizone shot (which was horrible-it HURT so bad), I have to go back to him next week and if it's not better he wants to go to therapy and if that doesn't work then I have to have surgery-never a dull moment

Thanks, DR gave me a special sock to wear, I was wearing it and fh came from work and saw the sock and burst out laughing
I told him this is what I am wearing on our wedding night

the shots suuuuuuck cuz they are like 5 minutes long.. but i dont mind getting them when im in a lot of pain

the best shots are from a dentist in the gums... its like extra sharp dental floss. lol im a weirdo

I have had bunyon surgery, and 5 weeks ago (opn the same foot) surgery to remove a growth on the bottom (inside) of my foot.

I feel your pain, literally.

The shot was HORRIBLE, it was the longest 5 mins ever! I don't think I could do it again??

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this!

On the other hand, Barb you know Dr. Rick DelMonte ---- has a practice on the Upper West Side? He's my SUPER HOT foot doc.
