my MOH had both feet done over the summer probably like 4-6 weeks apart, she's happy she did it, but she still can't wear heels.

My sister had 3 hammer toes operated on, it was sooo painful, she was messed up for weeks.
She had 3 metal rods going through each toe that stuck out the tops of htem, htey looked like frankenstein feet.

She is much better, she can wear heels but now she wants to get her other foot done.

She just got breast implants and that hardly any pain compared to her feet.

Re: NWR: Foot surgery

I just had bunion surgery 5 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the results. My Dr. had to bascially break my foot and reattach it with a screw and then shave the top and sides. I had to stay off my feet for 3 days and then started walking on it after that.

I would lie if I said it didn't hurt, but if you follow the post-op orders, you improve week by week. The worst parts for me was that it was my right foot, so I couldn't drive for 2 weeks and having to wear the surgical shoe for 4 weeks.

No worry! It will go great and you will be in your favorite shoes again no time!!!
