I need to do a lesson on homophones for my 4th grade students for an observation. Has anyone done one that would like to share ideas? Thanks in advance!

what about an activity where you assign small groups...cut out several pics from a magazine and tape one on each groups poster paper...then maybe require that each person in the group is responsible for writing 2 sentences about whatever may be going on in the pic using homophones...then maybe if time is left they can share for the rest of the class to see???? I like group activities and also like creative activities if i am getting observed...i hope that helps a bit...best of luck to you
***just realized that you are doing it in 4th grade...i teach middle school and i am not entirey sure if this would work with younger kids...i guess you would know that better

Thank you for that suggestion! I forgot to mention that I am in a resource room and so I only have 4-5 kids at a time. I can do partner work!
