Just wondering, when you go to a full service gas station do you tip the person who pumps your gas???
I always tip when I go, but my friend told me she never does. I'm just wondering if it's expected or if I should just save my money.

never because that full service prices adds an extra 20 cents for that purpose. I hate full service id rather pump my own gas only when I need gas and Im by work do I use the full service since Huntington is the only town on LI where you can self serve

I rarely ever go to full-service. I do if it is absolutely freezing, I'm sick or really dressed up. I usually don't tip but I do around any holiday

When I usd to live in Brooklyn, I would all the time. Now living in NJ, I never do unless my windows are cleaned.

When we lived in Jersey, we noticed our local gas station took out an extra $1 out of the credit card after each transaction. Once we found that out, we stopped tipping. However, we'll usually give a $1 or so especially if it's rainy/cold outside.

It really depends on how nice the person is and which mood I'm in!!! Sometimes I'll give nothing and sometimes I'll give $2-3...

I always pump my own...but even if I happen to go to a full serve station...I never tip. maybe that makes me a terrible person...but I just dont.
