Just wondering, when you go to a full service gas station do you tip the person who pumps your gas???
I always tip when I go, but my friend told me she never does. I'm just wondering if it's expected or if I should just save my money.

Re: NWR: Full Service Gas Stations
I've never tipped at a gas station before but then I've grown up with gas stations where they pump for you (eastern LI) and was kinda freaked when I actually had to pump my own when I went to college in Virginia (8 years ago). I never even thought about tipping them.

FH tips sometimes. I usually don't since they charge extra for credit and I never have cash.

Re: NWR: Full Service Gas Stations
Never I live in the town of Huntington and it's a law that every gas station is full-serve. So I never thought about it (and I've only pumped gas twice in my whole life....I know...such a priss)

Re: NWR: Full Service Gas Stations
I have no choice since NJ is all full service so I don't tip!
If I chose to use full service on my own which i never did when i was in NY, I would feel inclined to tip like a dollar
