I was just talking to my cousin through IM and she was telling me about a situation she had on myspace where a guy asked to be requested as her friend. She accepted his request and he went on to thank her and say how good looking she is. She said she was flattered but took it for what it was myspace chatter. Okay thats fine, then today she sees the same name saying that she better not be trying to get with her man and a whole bunch of JHS/HS stuff. My cousins just removed the name and blocked it. She then gets a message from the guy who is apologizing for his girl friend who happened to sneak on using his name to see who he was talking to.
This is why I dont have myspace!

Thats why i keep my profile private! and i only accept people i know (they need my acutal email addy or last name to request an add and stuff)

yeah thats why i only accept people i know - actually i accepted this girl the other day because her name was 'wifey' something - so i assumed it was one of the friends that I had made on here
well this girl send out like 40 bulletins and comments a day so i deleted her - it was so annoying!!
and i am so paranoid about people finding my myspace like my job or something - thats why my page looks like its for a 16 year old girl LOL i have nothing bad on there at all

We always lookup potential employees on myspace, you can eliminate a lot of potential candidates by doing so.

Yeah and somewhat related, I've heard that if you are interviewing for a job sometimes they look you up on myspace to get more information...so ladies beware, if you're looking for a job and you've got something you wouldn't want a potential employer to see on your myspace!!

that's why i do NOT accept friend invitations from anyone i don't know. too many people just say yes to everyone to have lots of friends...not me! lol i keep my list personal!
Same here. I never accept anyone I don't know and that way my FH dosn't get mad that I am on it.

Don't have it anymore. It was way to easy for an ex to find me. . .needless to say I no longer have my space. FH didn't like that much
