NWR: gilmore girls

anyone else love this show?? if so, are you just as confused who you love lorlei (cant spell) with better.. luke or christopher? ahhhh

i am OBSESSED with this show!!! DH has bought me every season on dvd, one by one everytime it is on, i sing the theme song to him... i had it as a special dance for him at the wedding; i surprised him
personally, i hate christopher. i'm not sure why... i just think lorelai and luke should be together. together forever

I love this show too! Thought I was the only viewer.... Actually I didn't like Luke with Lorelei. And I didn't care for last season at all.

I like the show. Not confused at all. I don't like Christopher. I think that they have done a good job of showing some chemistry between Lorelai and Christopher... and a lot of romance... but I don't think it will stick. I think Luke is her rock and by end of season she will be back with him. Chris is not really getting the 'whole' Lorelai... he is getting only a small piece of what she wants to give.

i agree. i just don't think she's herself when she's with him. she seems fake.

Good call! Chris is a smarmy b*stard, and I hate him with Lorelai. But their scenes together do show some chemistry. Yuck. This show is almost hard to watch now, because the first 3 or 4 seasons were so amazing, and this is like a totally different show. Once Amy Sherman-Palladino left, it's been weird. Not a bad show... just not Gilmore Girls. Where are the 'la-la's'? You used to be able to tell a character's emotions just by the 'la-la's' in the background, but they haven't been in any of the past few episodes. Everything is just a little 'off.'

That would be my guess. After Rory graduates from Yale, I can't imagine where they'd take it.

Hey Mrs. Kelly, I saw in your proofs that you had the DJ play 'Where You Lead' for you and your DH to dance to - I was seriously going to do that at my wedding too!!! I'm obsessed with Gilmore Girls, and my FH watches it with me at least 3 times a week (thank you, ABC Family network!) and loves it too. Did you make it a surprise? It must have been great!

i must agree with the majority here. I do not like Laureli and Christopher together.....she is meant to be with Luke. And Luke accepts all her little quirkiness. I think Luke and Laureli bring things to each other and are in a sense each other's other half. I don't see that with Christopher.

what does everyone think will happen with rory and her boy toy. I didn't like him at first, but he has grown on me, and I think he is growing up too...but time will tell

I agree about Logan. He's grown on me for sure. Of course, he lives in another country now. So I guess, 'less is more'?

i actually think something might happen with him and Bobby. since they keep bringing her character in. or rory is gonna drive herself crazy about her and break up. maybe her and dean will get back together again. i cant believe lane is preggo with twins! so weird. i kinda like christopher NOW but his past i didnt. but i agree, she isnt acting like herself (lorelei)

i totally agree with the bobby twist....now whether something will really happen or rory will walk in on something that can be misconstrued....i think something will happen

FSIL and I were watching it together tues night and we agreed that we think rory used to be kinda awkward looking and is now gorgeous...and laureli was gorgeous, but doesn't seem to be taking as much care now (she almost looks like shes worrying ALL THE TIME)

oh, her friends boyfriend named 'boyfriend' i dont think i like those girls. then again, i dont like paris at all. she annoys me. its so funny how people get attached to shows and feel like they know them. this happens to me all of the time. please i dream about prison break all of the time haha.

yes, i made it a surprise! it was after the parent dances, the dj called us up and told mike i had a song i wanted to dedicate to him... we were cracking up, but it was really sweet. you should go for it!

as far as logan, he's growing on me too... but i think something will happen with him and bobby... and i pray, pray, pray that they bring back dean. i always loved him and feel like rory should be with him, and luke with lorelai. and if this is the last season, then i hope it ends properly, according to me! lol
oh and yes, rory is looking more gorgeous than ever!

As I was reading thru all the posts I thought I was the only one to like Lorelei and Christopher together. I mean Luke was a totall butthead last year - like why did it take him so long to tell Lorelei about April? And the whole town met April before her? What the heck was that???

Also, I think that guy's name is Marty - not Bobby.
