NWR: Girls, I'm scared.

So I had this rash on my chest and back last week, went to the ER, they gave me Prednisone. That controlled it. I;ve been off the meds for a few days, and now its coming back!! I'm giving myself a panick attack thinking I''m dying!!

i would go back to the doc... show them its not gone yet and maybe they can put u on soemthing else! and you're not dying!!!!!

you will be ok, just call the md in the morning and see him, also you can go to the dermitologist and seee what you are allergic too

Everytime I look it up online, it says cancer and all this other bad stuff..

Don't look things up online sweetie..theres so much false info out there plus, you can be letting your mind wander.

Just call your Dr. 2moro...

BTW if it was cancer, I dont think the meds would have cleared it up silly!!!!!

Yeah....I had a habit of looking up things online like that....worst idea ever lol, I made myself so worried.

I'm sure if you call your doctor tomorrow they'll give you a new prescrip.

Never look online...i once had high sodium levels (or so they though, but really they mixed up my blood results with someone elses..)My doctor told me I might have diabetes insipidus to look it up online...so I did...only to find out it is most commonly caused by a brain tumor! Of course from that second on I had crazy headaches! Relax, you will be fine!

Never, never, never look online!!! I had one doctor who said, 'Look up your symptoms on the internet and you can be dead in two clicks!'

You may be allergic to something else and the prednisone may have cleared up the rash, but not taken care of the real problem.

Well if it was more serious than an allergic reaction, I don't think that benadryl would have worked for it, but I'm gonna go to the doc tomm.

It definitely sounds like an allergy...hang in there and dont freak yourself out too much!

Call again and go.... I am sure you are fine but just don't leave the doctor until you get some answers. Have them check to make sure it isn't that staff infection that has been going around the schools...and dont panic with what I just said....it is VERY treatable and you seem like you are on top of it.

The staph infection would look like a 'boil' that has puss oozing out of it...you would DEF know if it was staph...one of my students had it...trust me!

hahaha no sweat they are crazy...my school district was so ridiculous with it...but it would definitely be ooozing...and the only way you can get it is by gettng the puss into an open cut...they say the boils are very hard and painful to touch and they ooze

NEVER look on WEBMD. I thought i was dying once!! They make a headache into a brain tumor. Its terrible!!!!
