yes (well mine is a year old now)...we let her on the couch from the beginning...we probably shouldnt have started it but now she always jumps on the couch and lays with us. if she can't get on the couch she sits and cries cuz she wants to be near us. our couch is beige microfiber so its pretty beat up now!
if you don't want him ont he couch i would definitely start disciplining him now every time he jumps up....otherwise he will get spoiled!!

My friend has two yorkies (together they don't even add up to 10 pounds), and they successfully jump on the couch.

yeah we let him on the couch in the beginning
i dont mind and our couch is dark brown
but i feel like we can never eat on the couch again and sometimes its just annoying lol

my dogs are far from small... my black lab is almost 2 years old and my golden retriever is just a puppy, 7 months old, but they get on the couch, the bed, the puppy likes to lay on the recliner...the lab sleeps in our bed everyyyyyyyy night

yeah mine jumps on the couch all the time and likes to jump on the bed to sleep with us. When she was younger, we used to use a baby gate to keep her in one room, but she learned to jump that... there's no holding back a shiba inu from getting what they want!

My lil yorkie babies pretty much go anywhere. Bella is three and *** is 1 together they are just close to 10 pounds
if there was no chance of them getting hurt i would have had them in my wedding in a heart beat. <3
