NWR: Giving away Turtles Free!

I have 2 red eared slider turtle. They are just too much work for me to handle anymore. They are currently at my parents b/c my home is way too small for the tank. Free to a good home. Everything included. 20 gallon Long tank, 2 turtles, floating log, filter, food along with anything else I have turtle related. You can even have the buckets and nets I use to clean and maintain them. I'm a small girl so cleaning the tank is a big project since i can't pick it up. Also my sister is having a baby so my parents want them out of the house sooner rather then later so they can make room for the baby.

i'll ask DH. he'll prob say no... but i really want a pet.
are they the type that crave attention or are they shy?

my brother had two that were HUGE... i mean... HUGE.. one he had from a baby and that one CRAVED attention, if you walked past the tank he'd swim along side it and bash into the side... the other one just hung out.
my mohs sister had one that when you went near it it would like freak out and try and hide.

These guys are hams. When I walk in the room they jump off their logs from basking in the light and swim up to the side for attention. I feel like they are spoiled babies! lol I really do love them but they are just way too much for me right now and we honestly don't even have a little corner in our house for them. We don't even have room for a few pots! It's sad b/c the bigger one my sister had since it was literally a baby! We bought him a friend b/c I felt that everyone needs a friend even turtles! My cat likes to watch them. They even follow the cat! They will follow your finger along the tank like follow the leader. I wouldn't suggest sticking your fingers into the tank though lolI have a screen for the top and a lamp cover with 3 types of lights. They love the warm lamps!
