I really need to get rid of some stuff before I move AND I could always use some extra cash-ola sooo with that in mind I decided to have a garage sale So if anyone wants to pop by to visit me Sunday, April 29th anyone and everyone is more than welcome...I'll be there allll day

Great minds think alike! Did you advertise in Newsday or the pennysaver? If not definitely do that cause I had a garage sale once and didn't advertise and I think all of 10 people came all day lol!

My parents go through the pennysaver and take photocopies of the atlast and actually plot out where they are going to go. They call it 'yard sailing'! They got this idea from other people they've seen at other sales. It's a whole underground cult!

margaritas would be amazing. John and I have so much junk that we have been saving for his grandmas garage sale ..but shes really sick and we were bummed!! because we live in an apartment complex so no garage sales here :)

My parents make photocopies of different neighborhood maps. Then go through the pennysaver and highlight where each sale is on the map and figure out the easiest way to get to each one. A lot of people actually do this so it's a good idea to defiantely put it in the pennysaver or yankee trader!
