nwr: good news !

one of my good friends from college asked me to be godmother of his new son!

im so honored!!!!!!!! i said yes.

(on a side note, another friend asked me last year to be godmom and i said no....is that bad?! i hope this doesnt cause drama )

as for saying no last year- you were in a different place, mentally and you had a lot on your plate. she shouldn't get mad.

at the time they lived in another state, so i explained that i took the responsibility seriously, and i just dont think we see eachother enough. i never said NO. but i kept stressing that i dont think id do a good job cuz of the timing and the distance (of course there is a backstory too....which i wont get into here). so that was that

truth be told, i have the same concern with this friend...but they live close so i dont see a reason why i wouldnt see them more in the future.
