Re: NWR: 'Good Read' Recommendations
May not be up your alley but I am in the mist of reading the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. I think these are books are awesome - it's like Harry Potter with greek mythology!
There are 5 books right now - very quick reads (I think I read the first 3 in a week and a half and right now I am in the middle of the 4th book). I also hear he might be coming out with more, but not 100% sure about that.
In the realm of books you are looking for, I recommend the Emily Griffin series of 'Something Borrowed', 'Something Blue', 'Baby Proof' (I read 'Love the One Your With' but didn't like it as much as the others).
Highly recommend Megan McCafferty's Jessica Darling series - 'Sloppy Firsts', 'Second Helpings', and 'Charmed Thirds'. It's like an on going story about this girl Jessica Darling starting out when she's in highschool and gets a summer job at the boardwalk in Jersey Shore and she winds up falling for the outcast in school and they are just your basic 'teen' book series but I loved them!
EDIT: Oh any anything Jennifer Weiner or Jen Lancaster- love their writing esp. Lancaster (she's hytserical!)

Re: NWR: 'Good Read' Recommendations
I am not HUGE into romance books. I like more horror, twisted kind of books like chuck palahniuk is one of my fav authors but it is deff not romantic lol. One book that I did read that I loved soo much was the history of love By Nicole Krauss. It is really romantic and Just so cute and kind of sad at points. I would deff reccommend it. Also the Abstinence teacher by tom Perrotta was goood too. But if you want a book that makes you say Holy C R A P W T F lol then read
'Haunted' or 'An oral biography of rant casey' Both books are By Chuck Palahniuk.( he wrote the book fight club and choke both became movies)
