Any of u girls have a GPS? What would u recommend? FH & I are looking for an inexpensive, but good one for the HM... since we're renting a car in Hawaii, we figure a nice lil GPs would be a lot easier than maps upon maps.

i have an old school garmin that FH bought on ebay, its refurbished with the 2009 maps...i think it was like $70ish. it works well except in the city, where sometimes it 'recalculates' when i need it the most...but ive gooten much better at navigating the city, so i dont really need it anymore

I have a tom-tom (along with 2 of my bms, we have different models) and we love them! FH has a magellan and he hates it and steals mine which cost half as much :)

FH and I have garmin nuvi's. We've used them in Hawaii on our last trip and they are great - no complaints at all.
One tip though - it sometimes takes a few minutes to get a signal in Hawaii (the mountains get in the way). Sometimes you have to be patient. The problem was worst on Kauai.

we'll be in oahu the whole time, so hopefully it will get a better signal, since its built up more than the other islands.

Our best man bough my FH and I each a tomtom for our engagement. I didnt even know what it was when I opened the present... I honestly DO NOT even know how I got places before I had this thing !!! I love it!
