NWR: Great Neck

One of my old co-workers lives there. She loves it I'm not much more help though, sorry

i grew up in Great Neck and sort of hated it there ... everyone is rich and kind of spoiled (EVERYBODY in my high school owned a BMW). I also feel like it's so far from everything ... like, it takes 15 minutes just to get to a highway which always drove me crazy!

Also, depending where you are, parking can be a huge pain (like on middle neck road which i believe where GN Terrace is located, if i'm not mistaken)

Parking could possibly be an issue, but we are also getting a garage and only have one car. TY!

ITA. I had family there so I spent a decent amount of time there, I worked on Middle Neck Rd for a while and I work nearby in Port Washington.

People are def spoiled. Never got treated so rudely and like crap working anywhere like I did in Great Neck. And parking is annoying. And trying to drive up and down Middle Neck Road in the morning and afternoon is a NIGHTMARE, it used to take almost a half an hour for me to get from the LIE to the Waldbaums shopping center, not exactly sure what the distance is , but it shouldn't take that long. Traffic Traffic Traffic.

ETA Parking like, in town when you need to go somewhere like the bank, or the pharmacy, or the store.

I live in Great Neck Plaza, not far from Great Neck Terrace. Been living here for about a year now, and I love it!
