Lol I know this is SUPER random.. but how much do you spend on groceries weekly? Lately I've been spending 70+ per week and it's just me & FH! I think that's crazy!! What's a normal amount for Long Island?
FH and I do a big shopping about once a month and usually spend around $250...but since we got engaged we have been doing some coupon clipping and it really does help!I'm not as good as those ladies on Extreme Couponing but I do hope to get there one day...lol

Im not on LI.. Im in the Bronx.. but FH and I usually do 1 big food shopping once a month and spend anywhr btwn $150-200. Then about every 6 wks or so we will go to costco and stock up on juices and sauces and things we can buy in bulk and spend about another $100-$200 depending on how much we get. Food and things for the house are so dammn expensive.. esp meat! I always try and shop sales.. certain things I wont buy unless they are on sale.
Please tell me your secret!!!!!!!!!!!!! I go food shopping for us once a week and it come to $140!!!!!!!!! Some weeks I get away with $120. And it doesn't even seem like a lot of food!

I agree w jazzy some things you need to get in bulk but I can give you great sites to help coupon but with match ups- stock up on items (but not as crazy as on the show)
70 is really not bad tho- does that include your paper goods and soaps shampoos etc
