I'm looking for a new gym near copaigue but the only ones that I've found are Bally's on Sunrise Highway and Long Island Fitness in Massapequa Park. I know there's a Planet Fitness and LA Fitness up Route 100 in Melville & Farmingdale, respectively.
Is anyone in this area or know of any other gyms or fitness centers?

There's also Lucille Roberts in Massapequa/Massapequa Park. It's on Sunrise also. I just recently cancelled my Synergy membership and might be switching over there because my best friend goes there.

there is a gym called All Natural Fitness on Hoffman, Fitness 19 on Wellwood and a kickboxing gym (CKO) on SUnrise.
I go to both CKO and FItness 19 if you have any questions.

Laura-I thought of Lucielle Roberts after I posted this.
I'm in Amity Harbor which is a sublet of Copaigue but I'm really actually between Massapequa and Lindenhurst oddly enough.

there is also a powerhouse right in Lindenhurst Village....I was a member but switched cause others are cheaper

In Babylon Village, there's Fitness Incentive on Deer Park Avenue.

I love CKO too.....they got me in shape for my wedding dress. It got tot he point where I told them I couldnt lose anymore cause my dress would end up being too big...

They definitely make you sweat! I've been going since it opened last May - it's my favorite workout. Kills me, but I love it.

i live in copiague, and go to evolution fitness in massapequa...its not a crazy gym, but it def has everything you need, and its pretty inexpensive too.
there is also big al's in amityville, which i used to go to....very expensive

I definitely recommend Club KO too!!! I live in Hoboken and I've been going there for 3 years and lost 20 pounds and I've beenslowly losing more. It's fun and you are constantly moving. It's addicting!!

We must have. I usually go Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:15 and *TRY* to squeeze in a Saturday or Sunday but it's been hard lately. I'm trying to find another night during the week to go, but it's hard. I usually hang in the last couple of rows by the desk.
How is the 10 week program? I've never done it. I've been a member since the opened but stopped going like all winter because I was very lazy.....Now with 5+ months to go, I'm in a panic.

I am always all the way in the back behind the rack of bags. I highly rec the 10 week program. I say start it soon if you want to get the results for the wedding. I started it 3 weeks before the wedding and saw crazy results but was mad I didnt do it sooner so I would have seen even more results. I am almost done with the 10 weeks and am probably going to do another 10 so I can get to my goal. I am in classes mon or tues and then Wed late class and Fris at 6pm. So Im sure we have been in class together. Ill be there tonight at 830 with DH.

it is more money....and it depends on your membership i think. it works though. I am toned now and i feel like I am so close to having a tight flat stomach.
Ill probably see you at the end of class. We go to the 830 on Wed cause DH cant get out of work to get to the 715.
