I have been flitting around with stylists for years. I remember my mother having really close relationships with her hair stylists growing up, but I always feel like I'm just another paycheck. I want someone I can trust who knows what they are doing. Does anyone know someone fantastic in the Plainview area? I would drive further for someone truly great. I would really like to develop a relationship with someone who I can eventually trust to do my hair for the wedding, but first I need to trust them to just cut my hair well.
If you know a specific person that would be really helpful; great stylists work at bad salons and horrible stylists work at great salons.

for a quick and simple blow out (no style) i go to Hair 2000..........for a cut, style, up-do, etc....I go to Cactus!

I go to Kimera Salon in Plainview on Old Country Rd and South Oyster Bay Rd. I go to Gina, who is really nice. It's next to Zorba the Greek, in that same little strip.
