Has anyone had a GI series? I've been dealing with horrible stomach problems for over a month and they don't know what's wrong with me. First they said I might need an endoscopy, then they said a gi series. I'm having that done tomorrow, but I'm nervous about it. At the same time, I just want to know what's wrong already so I can get back to living like a normal person. And wedding planning has been completely put on the back burner until this is all figured out. Poor FH has been amazing through all of this...I think I'm freaking myself out more than I should be. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Re: NWR: Has anyone had a GI series?
Okay, I had both. A GI series is drinking like contrast (which tastes like pepto bismol), so they can tell on a screen if there is anything wrong with your digestion process. I have also had an endoscopy, I was vomiting for about 2 months (for NO REASON) NO ONE HAD A SINGLE AWNSER!!! NON STOP!!!! Finally, I was put in the hospital (stonybrook) and they gave me an immediate endoscopy, which was fine, they give you like a twilight drug to keep you awake(the prcedure was @ 5min). Turn out all I needed were ANTACIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They really never told me what the problem was but that I should stick to a high-fiber diet and take antacids I feel your pain, really! Everything will be okay, its very common.
