NWR: Has anyone had or know anyone who has had...

knee replacement surgery? What was the heeling and recovery like? How long did it take?

I have heard that it is a really long recovery and if I have my surgery within the next 6 weeks, is that going to affect me walking down the aisle in April?

My boss and my friend's mom had that done. They recovered differently from eachother- my friend's mom's recovery seemed slower and more painful. my boss was back at work after four months, and I think that was a little early.

BUT these two are quite a bit older than you are- 55 and seventies.

I would think that since you are younger you may be ok...but i do know that is was a long healing process for my granpa..he had both knees replaced over the last 5 years. Its a ton of physical therapy to make the knee strong again...BUT it was the solution to the terrible arthritis he had and he feels 100X better...Im sure your recovery would be much less..
