NWR-Have a group partner in school that makes me want to pull my hair out!
I've carpooled with her a few times and she's rude and obnoxious. She will ask me a question and then literally argue with me about the answer and tell me I dont know what Im talking about! THEN WHY ASK ME IF YOUR NEVER WRONG!!! The whole ride to school she will talk on her cellphone and actually tell people to call her because it's the best time to reach her. She's barely passing and I have good grades so your going to tell me I dont know what Im talking about! My problem is that in a few months they are breaking us up into clinical groups and they want to do it based on where you live so that you can carpool if need be She will def. be in my group and I would much rather be in clinical with my class group! I want to express this to my professor but I really think it would be wrong to do so and so does everyone I've talk to about it! The thought of putting up with her for the rest of school is giving me anxiety Had to vent she drove me nuts yelling at me last night over material that was supposed to be on a final next week and I have to pick her up today!

Do you HAVE to car pool ?
Some one who is so argumentative and opinionated is not worth taking with. I have a bus buddy who is like this, and I have mastered the quick change of topic or the steely silence method.
Your education is what is important here. If you feel that it is in your best interest to speak with your professor about not being in clinical with this particular girl, go for it. Listen to yourself, not to others. Just make sure that you have a justifiable and adult reason to explain to your professor why you want to make this change. Just because she argues with you is not really a valid point. Bring up the point that her study habits and knowledge of the topics at hand are not good and you feel that this would affect your learning process.
I don't really understand what geographic location has to do with being in a clinical group, other than being able to carpool. That has no bearing on your education.
Good luck.

Well that's just it the professor has deceided that she is going to split up clinical groups based on where you live so if you need to carpool there is no excuse to not showing up to clinical. I dont really need to carpool but I feel like as silly as it sounds being as rude as she is I just dont want to hurt her feelings and with gas prices it's a big save I think I had to fill my tank once this week instead of twice. Also DH needs my car since his is on the fritz and before I new this girl was going to drive me crazy he rearranged his schedule to my carpool schedule. I agree with you as far as speaking to the professor but another thing is that the professor has stated that she wants the stronger students with with weaker ones so I dont know how well my point is going to fly. Thanks for the advice though.

What your prof said about mixing stronger students with weaker students makes sense.
Any way you can ignore this chick ? Obviously she thinks that she is correct on everything, but that may not always be the case. If you do get stuck with her, make the best of it and concentrate on YOURSELF only. You are not supposed to be a tutor to this chick while you yourself are still learning.
