Re: NWR- Help me roast my bottom

i usually do everything at 350 and just check the temp if you have a meat therm. i usually go for an internal temp of around 150 for med rare or so

Re: NWR- Help me roast my bottom

depending on how big it is it could take around 3 hrs or so. you could also cook it for 45 min at 450 and then drop the temp for the rest of the cook time if you are in a hurry for it

Re: NWR- Help me roast my bottom

In general, you want to cook a cut of meat like botton round at a lower temp for a longer time or in a dutch oven/pressure cooker. If you cook it at a higher temperature, the outside will get burnt and tough and the inside will be raw...

Since I'm not sure what you're making exactly, I can't say what temp to use, but check out allrecipes.com. You can just enter the words 'botton round roast' in the search field and get a bunch of recipes...

Good luck!!!!
