nwr: help .. sorry so long

so this is going to sound REALLY odd and make no sense but here goes

my sister and i went to target on saturday to try on bathing suits etc for my cruise. we were in a rush changing, trying on because we were short on time (going into the city). I found a few, payed and on my way out to the car, i noticed that my hand (thumb area) hurt, was swollen and was REALLY itchy...

well its only gotten worse, my palm is killing me. i cant close or open my hand all the way without really sore pain, the top of my hand doesnt hurt at all, its just the palm. all of the bones on the palm side are sore when i touch them, try and open something etc and as soon as i touch it, its crazy itchy. what the heck is this?

might try and make a dr. appt. my mom was telling me it could be rheumatoid related (i hope not) but that doesnt make sense with the itching. maybe an allergic reaction? but that doesnt explain the why my whole palm is killing me

any docs out there?

Did you try putting benadryl cream on it or cortizone for the itch?

my mom had perscription strength hydocrotisone and it helped a little ... i used that on the day it started

ewwwwww you have bugs!!!!! no seriously, when you were shopping, were you holding the hangers with that hand???

i would definitely go to the doctor soon. I would even call your doctor now to tell them what happened and see what they say so this way you can have a better idea even before you go in.

Is it possible something bit you...see this happens to me ALOT...i get the weirdest bites and get allergic reactions...it does swell, even have been a bit black and blue and yes the area would itch ALOT...do you happen to have a fever?

i was holding the hangers. all that i can figure is i was in such a rush trying things on that maybe i banged it or something or brushed it really hard against something but there are no cuts, no bruising, only soreness and itch. and its only my right hand (go figure, making it hard to do EVERYTHING )

no fever, no streaking thank god. FH was telling me it was a snake bite it is a little swollen when comparing to my other palm but it only gets red when i scratch it ... its just sore i hope its not like the first sign of arthritis or something or lupus

this was about 6-7 weeks ago, turns out I have Autoimmune chronic urtercaria and this was just the beginning of a crazy 3-4 week period of me being very sick.
