Totally not wedding related, but i posted before on how i am lacking the xmas spirit. Well the other night my fh and I met with the pastor who will be doing our ceremony, the church is one that my aunt and uncle belong to.... long story short there is a tree there every year that has a name of a person i.e boy/girl/mom/dad/grandma/grandpa and/or their age and what they want for a gift. I was looking at the tree the other night and notice 'grandma wants a microwave'. It had been on my mind that entire night and the next day. I asked my uncle to see if it was still there because I didn't know that I could just take it off that tree since I am not really a member of the Chruch... silly me. I had a nanny who was very dear to my heart that passed away about three years ago. She always cooked w her microwave lol. So I just felt like it was a connection some how. Well my uncle just called me now and told me it was still on the tree and he took it off for me. I made an extra $50.00 dollars this week on a side project. So instead of wasting the money on myself I am putting it to that grandmas gift .
See the holidays can make you feel 'warm' again. Just do something/anything nice for someone else and that's really what it is all about. Just thought I would share
