NWR- holiday partys

omg i need help!!!! i work at a law office in manhatten. so i have been invited to 2 holiday parties so far. 1 is for the law firm i work for & the other 1 is for the law firm where we rent our space from. i have no idea what to wear to these holiday parties. they are both in the afternoon on days i am working so just reguular work clothes?????

i usually wear dress pants & a dressy shirt & a pair of shoes i leave at work. so i figured i will wear nicer shoes but are pants ok or should i get a skirt??? please help!!!!

For the afternoon parties - where what you would wear to work, but a littler nicer. Maybe put one some extra make-up, a fancier suit, or some nice jewelry. Parties are more fun when you feel like you are at a party - which means not wearing what you would normally wear to work.

In my office, we wear our normal suits with a very dressy shirt. Then we take our blazers off for the party. It is funny because every year all the women look like they are in uniform - black skirt, heels, and most of us are wearing various shades of red silk blouses.

im a dress girl.. i hate suits. so i would say a nice business/casual dress..
