any ladies live in apartment buildings??? FH and I are trying to figure out how much to tip our super and his assistant. anyone have any ideas on this?? they keep the building nice and clean and the super has fixed a few things for us throughout the year.
is it ok to do $40 for the assistant and $60 for the super? FH was thinking $60 for assistant and $100 for super but i think thats too much.

Re: NWR holiday tipping
That sounds about right. ($40 and $60) I don't think it's something they expect so I'm sure it will be a nice surprise.

Ugh, I am not looking forward to this because there's a bunch of doormen, two porters and a Super. We just moved in there about a month or two ago - so we will most likely do a bottle of wine, or some cash for the doormen ($20 maximum), and then probably the same for the Super because he hasn't done anything for us really. I also know that if you don't give them something, they will most likely treat you differently and not be as 'efficient.'
How long have you guys been there? If your super helps out a lot, I'd recommend doing what your FH mentioned - but I would do $100 for Super and $50 for assistant.
