I've never done any yoga, I'm a cardio person, but thinking about adding it to the routine!

I did it once and was not a fan. I do pilates & yoga every week but the hot yoga isn't for me. You sweat places no one should ever sweat ....as in EVERYWHEREEEE there is skin

LOVE Bikram. OK, don't do it a ton but went through a phase where I was. I am totally a fainter and yea you have to drink a lot of water...cocunut water is good cuz it's got a little sugar in it. The class is a full 90 minutes though which makes it hard to go to I think - the scheduling is the biggest challenge.
Go at least once.. you feel amazing after.

You do yoga inside a room that is like 110 degrees.

Re: nwr: hot yoga!
I LOVE Bikram!! I did Bikram for 3 months to prepare for my wedding and b-pics, more than anything! I love it, and still go whenever I can. I go to Namaste in Plainview Shopping Center. It's the best! Jamie is the owner, she's my girl! With Bikram, diet and cardio I lost a ton of weight and toned my entire body. The classes are an hour and a half in a 110 degree room. I never got nauseated, but a lot of people do. Definitely don't eat for a few hours before, and hydrate a ton before and during. Bring lots of towels. At Namaste you can borrow yoga mats, they have spray to wipe them down. The best part of where I go is the floor isn't carpet. A LOT of places have carpet floors which is really gross because they can't be wiped down. These floors are like soft plastic almost and I spray my whole area before I begin. You can get a trial pack of 2 classes for $20 I think. Good luck!

I am so interested in going and had been looking for a place recommended by someone. How many days a week did you go?? I want to get an idea if I should plan for like once or week or like everynight lolz.

Re: nwr: hot yoga!
I love Bikram and I miss it! FH used to tell me that my skin glowed when I got out of the class. It takes some getting used to because of the heat and the movements, but I really like it.
