NWR: Household Remedies

Does anyone know how to get rid of the paint smell. I have all of the windows open but it's so strong.

supposedly if you chop an onion in half and place it in the room it will absorb the smell and you won't smell the onions either (got this off Yahoo answers)...

'Peel and slice onions left in the room overnight absorve the smell of most paints. There will be no smell of the onions either. ' and the asker said it worked.
