Does anyone know how to block someone on facebook? I took them off my list but I want to block them from sending me messages.

I believe in privacy settings you can go and block the person.

Yes, you can block them through privacy so that they don't even see you when they search for your name.

Also put them on ignore. They wont be able to see anything you post.
Lets say that you have some friends in common. You post something on their wall (it could be weeeknd plans) the ignored person cant read ANYTHING you post on anyones wall.

LMAOO I was having the same problem with an ANNOYING person ('friend' from MIDDLE SCHOOL I haven't seen in over 10 years) I posted as my 'what's on your mind' 'HOW DO I BLOCK SOMEONE? I DELETED THEM BUT THEY STILL CONTACT ME'
sure enough... SHE was the one who answered me!!!
she later asked if it worked and I said 'yes, stupid wedding pages keep sending me apps'
I waited about 3 weeks and blocked her.

this is exactly what I want to do. I dont want a former friend seeing anything I post on someone elses (mutual friends) walls. where is this ignore setting? I need to do this asap.... Thanks!
