Im looking at appartments and I think I found something I like in Huntington, about a mile south of main st by 110. Ive been told there are 'good' and 'Bad' parts of huntington.... how would you consider this area?

you mean by the train station? Or south of it?
some of the areas near or south of the train station can be ... not too safe of a place at night time... Huntington town proper (by main st, the park, or points north) is a wonderful place to live, but can be $$$.

I dont know where the train station is, but I crossed the train tracks about 3 blocks before the apartment... looking at a map it would be 2 blocks south of the train tracks.... Ive lived in eh areas before, just as long is its not a dangerous area i dont mind.

Okay, I asked FH he has lived in Huntington Village since a baby. He said the closer north the better. If you were two blocks directly south of the train station that is an area known for gang activity. I would look else were. Good luck.

the train is the transition point to the better area. Right before it (south of it) is not a happy place to live.
