NWR - How much do you girls contribute to your health insurance plans at work?
Original post by Trishthedish
At my job I do not contribute any money into my health insurance. It is fully paid by my company. Of course I pay my co-pay when I go to dr.'s but as far as monthly to the health insurance company, I pay nothing right now.
I was offered a job today and the monthly contribution by the employee would be $143 for a health plan that needs referrals and $193 for a plan that does not require a referral. I would probably go with the plan that does not require a referral.
I am just curious to see what the average rate is that most employees pay into their health insurance plans.
Thanks ladies...

I pay nothing, but I have a high deductible...but after that is met [and I do get the discounted insurance rates] it's free again. It stinks and is great all at once b/c my yearly deductible is barely more than what it would cost MONTHLY to be added to DH's insurance!

$90 for both of us. No referal. I dropped mine to go with DH's insurance. It was cheaper.

$100 for two people, medical and dental. DH's company doesn't have a good plan.
