NWR- How old were you

when you found your first gray hair? I found another one last night and am really upset about this. I know it's stupid, but I have about 5 now. It makes me so sad.

I was 26 I think - right about when I got engaged and the stress began.

I think I noticed my first one about a year or two ago. I'm 27 by the way. It's really hard to tell with my hair because my hair is dark blonde and so the gray hairs look like they could just be another blond hair.

I had someone point it out to me for the first time the other day though. She said, 'is it because of the wedding!?!?'

I was about 29 - 30 when I saw my first one!!!

Just yesterday I started to see more and more when I was brushing my hair, but you know what, they can come out if they want, I still feel young inside. PLUS, worst case scenerio, there's always Clairol!!!

I think I was about 27 or 28. There are a few more now. I have been dying my hair my natural color and the colorist thinks I'm nuts because there are only about 10 of them but, I still FEEL young so I want to still look it!

None yet and I just turned 31.
Knock on wood......
I take after my mother she didnt get her first
one till she was in her forties.

I'm 33 and none yet - my Mom's side is BLESSED genetically that way, she's 58 and JUST started getting a few, my great grandmother died at 94 with NONE!!

First one at either 23 or 24. But don't worry, I'm almost 38 now and still don't have a lot of them. Very, very few until about 35, and still not terrible. Only problem is that the grey ones are thicker and they sort of stick up. I do color my hair, but I did that before I even had to! I have a friend who is 33 and 100 percent grey but has a great hairdresser in the city and it's hard to believe she is grey under her color!!!

I never found one. My mom never started to gray until her 40s I think.

I was 34. Very traumatic.
I have some friends that are still in their 20's and already have grays

Oh my god...i know exactly how you feel.....right now at the age of 26 I have 2-3 white hairs....that i can see and they are rigth smack in the front of my forehead! I have been so upset about it! Everytime i see them....i go crazy looking and searching for more. So depressing...i feel so old!
