NWR - How was your shopping experience today (Black Friday)?
I had a pretty successful day. I bought several pairs of shoes, a cover-up cape type thing for the wedding, lots of clothes, and a DVD player. All for very reasonable prices.
I was kinda disappointed the Gap didn't have anything too special. Just a book with pictures if you spent $50. Last year they had 30% off everything if you purchased over $50.
Anyone else go shopping and have a successful day? Any warnings about stores to stay away from next year?

I was suppose to wake up at 530 this morn but I couldnt my sis and cousin went. SHe said the stores were insane, good thing I didnt go

my dad and my sis went at 4am. I was going to go but changed my mind
I did go out this afternoon and the mall wasnt too bad. I went to macys and that wasnt bad either. They have Mickeal Kors mens dress shirts for $20.00 so i bought a couple for my brother and FH
I did TRY to go to Kohls, I walked in saw the line and walked out. They need more registers!!

I went to gamestop at 5:45 to get FH a Wii, and i got one!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYY~~

i did great...i got to old navy at 520, target by 545, mall by 630 kohls by 730, walmart by 830 and i was home by 9!

I give all you girls alot of credit...I couldn't go this year because I'm friggin broke but I've been in previous years and its just a mad house...its kinda fun though...its like running a race

we actually did really well...alot better than last year and the year before. we went to circuit city and quickly got over 30 dvds and 2 pc games. we were in and out in an hr as opposed to 2-3 that we usually stay in the stores on black friday. then we went to the mall and i got my DOJ for only $45

I went to khols at 4am to get my mom the Kitchen Aid Mixer that was on sale for 159.00....I ws able to get it and as an added bonus my best friends mom had a 15% coupon so it came to 147 with tax and then a 30.00 rebate! I did good spending dads money!
then we went to toys r us.....all I have to say is that the line was looped around the ENTIRE store 15 min after they opened.
after toys r us - it was Target(not too bad),Bobs (did great here) and the mall. Then it was off to another Khols where I saw angl2001!
All in all, it was a very successful shopping trip. I actually just got home about 15 mon ago and I am ready for bed!

went to the mall for a bit. it was busy but not as bad an experience as I had thought. Express had some good sales! got me a sweater and a free gift. yay!!

Very short-lived ... i had everything mapped out from Tanger outlets to Kohls to best buy to target....etc. Unfortunately last night as i was heading out to the outlets i was stuck in so much traffic that i ended up turning around and going home to nap. Well when i woke up at 11 thismorning i realized i missed the early bird specials. I am heading to kohls shortly though.

I waited until later in the day to go and was very successful! I got so much Christmas shopping done and almost everyone held their early bird specials over. Best part...it wasn't as crowded as I thought it was going to be...hmm...

Kelly and I went to Kohls at 4am..then to old navy at 5...target at 6 then went to breakfast and went home, i slept from 9:30-12:15....went back out at 2 until 4 ate dinner went to walmart ay 6 and got home about 8:30 :) i did good today!
