NWR - How was your shopping experience today (Black Friday)?

I had a pretty successful day. I bought several pairs of shoes, a cover-up cape type thing for the wedding, lots of clothes, and a DVD player. All for very reasonable prices.
I was kinda disappointed the Gap didn't have anything too special. Just a book with pictures if you spent $50. Last year they had 30% off everything if you purchased over $50.
Anyone else go shopping and have a successful day? Any warnings about stores to stay away from next year?

i had nothing to really buy. i mean fh wants clothes for christmas but i couldnt get my butt up early this morning after all the wine i drank last night haha
and plus i would have just wanted to shop for myself so that was another reason i didnt go out of the house today haha
and my brothers and sisters and i do a secret santa since there are 7 of us, and we didnt pick out our person yet so i didnt even know who to buy for. and my parents i am getting gift cards so no deals on those haha
but glad everyone else was able tog et such great deals. i give you girls credit for going out there hahaha

FH and I went to the gym around 730pm and when we were done I said let's stop at Target so I can run in and grab some lean cuisines. We both thought it would have been a madhouse and I said if it is, I won't even go in. But we got there and I ran in and the store was EMPTY! I was in and out within 2 minutes. Then he said, should we try sears for my lights so I said okay. Again in and out because it was EMPTY! So that's the secret folks. Wait until 9pm to go shopping on Black Friday!

We went to Old Navy at 5:00am, then drove to Roosevelt Field Mall and hit up Macys, NY&Co where everything was buy one get one 50% off, then I used my $25 off $75 purchase and got a free gift. Then we went to Best Buy and got new cell phones (the Rumor) by Sprint, and the Corporate guy from Sprint was there and gave us a $50 comp on our bill since it was taking a long time to set us up. Then we went to Bath and Body works and had lunch at Panera.

I was out of the house at 10:30pm and in a spot at Tanger by 11:45! Coach had the longest line and I was NOT waiting on it! We shopped in a few stores and headed to Best Buy by 2am! I waited until they opened at 5am to get plasma TV's and DVD's! Then...headed to Staples for Digital Camera and printers..then home to bed by 8:30am!!! LOL I'm nuts! Oh, btw, my sister stayed at Tanger and was able to get my GM's Coach money clips for me! Thank God...she's a lifesaver!

I avoid malls on Black Friday... I prefer to do my shopping online, or in one place where you can get everything and leave- like target. The outlets aren't bad either. Malls make me nauseas and claustrophobic!

Went to Best Buy at 4:30 AM. Got a 32' LCD for $400! Then brought 2 pair of Coach shoes at Macys (6 am) at 30% off. Went to Walmart at 8 but by then everything good was gonem:( Then went home and went back to sleep until 2(best part!)

I went to khols at 4am to get my mom the Kitchen Aid Mixer that was on sale for 159.00....I ws able to get it and as an added bonus my best friends mom had a 15% coupon so it came to 147 with tax and then a 30.00 rebate! I did good spending dads money!
then we went to toys r us.....all I have to say is that the line was looped around the ENTIRE store 15 min after they opened.
after toys r us - it was Target(not too bad),Bobs (did great here) and the mall. Then it was off to another Khols where I saw angl2001!
All in all, it was a very successful shopping trip. I actually just got home about 15 mon ago and I am ready for bed!
i got the same thing! plus the extra 10 for every 50 dollars you spend which came to an extra 30 off! it was awesome!!!
