NWR: Hoy crap I was in a car accident this morning

I'm OKAYYYYYYYY

But geez, as I was going into the toll booth for the midtown tunnel, I stopped so a transit officer could cross in front of me and the car behind me was probably going 20 MPH or more and crashed into me so hard, everything in my console went flying. I never saw it coming, I heard a crash and my head flew back, nd my back arched.

Sooo needless to say I spent my day at the hospital, they made me wear the gown and all

Thankfully there is NO DAMAGE on either car, amazingly. And my injuries are only lots of muscle spasms down my back. The doctor said it could have been so much worse! Soo I'll be living on motrin the next few days.

Thankfully my FH is a chiropractor He is bringing home a portable table later.

Soooo I think after today's traumatic accident I think I deserve to get THE CALL this week

I took today as a sick day-tomorrow I work from home, so by Wednesday I should be up and running.
Its more muscle soreness than anything-the doctor said that because I have a lot of muscle tone, it prevented the injury from being more serious. But just to keep taking motrin and stretching.

But it still S U C K S !! I wanted to go to spin class tonight and tomorrow. Oh well..

In June 2004, I was hit by a school bus as I was driving home from a faculty meeting. Believe me, I understand the pain and frustration you must be feeling right now. (I had to be cut out of my car, which was 1/2 mile away from my school!!!) I am glad to hear that you're in one piece (even if you're sore) and that your car is okay!! Take it easy!!!

omg! im glad to hear u are ok n that there wasnt much damage! I swear ppl are so fast to move up a inch or two while driving if only they slowed down there lives for a minute or two! lol
