NWR: I am devastated
My uncle passed away on Thursday night of colon cancer. He was like a grandfather to me, since my mom's dad died when she was 5 and my uncle raised her. He was 75 and 20 yrs older than my mom....
I have lost 3 other of my aunts and uncles (mom's siblings) in the past 2 yrs, and this loss has hit me the hardest.
I am having trouble accepting his death and the fact that he was so ill and he died suddenly due to complications....my mom bought her plane ticket (he is in Lima, Peru) on Thursday morning, 9/2 and he died that night, and she couldnt even bump up her flight to make it to his funeral on Saturday.
Now both of my parents are there with my family and I am here alone and I feel heartbroken.....there's an emptyness in my heart that wasnt there before.
I just wanted to get this out, since I am at work trying to compose myself. It helps to write how I am feeling and I know that my fellow B2B's and grooms always know the kind words to say to comfort one another.

I just hope my om can get through this week. She lost her father figure in her life....and has already lost 3 siblings prior. These past 2 yrs have taken their toll on her emotionally...
